Dr. Lavergne is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, and fellowship trained in Hepatology. He studied at the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Lavergne is widely published, with a special interest on diseases of the liver. Dr. Lavergne joined our practice in 2005 after returning from several years of private practice in Panama. Dr. Lavergne lives in Aventura with his wife and two young sons, and enjoys tennis and Tae Kwon Do/Muay Thai.

Dr. Lavergne speaks fluent English and Spanish.
